Objective

Setup

Alternate mirrors frequently and compare equal clearance on both sides. Small drift should be corrected with small steering input followed by timely counter-steering.
Permitted look
Straight-line backing allows one outside look under the current Michigan manual. Stop and secure the vehicle before leaving the seat.
Completion
Back to the examiner's specified final position, keep the entire vehicle inside the lane, secure it, and signal completion.
